Tomorrow I Open: Will I Set the Alarm Off??

Tomorrow will be the first time I work the first shift and open the boutique. I am not really nervous about it but did joke with one of the owners that the alarm may go off! It wouldn't be bad if I didn't have to leave my house so early. The boutique opens at 10 am and I will have to leave my house around 8 am to make it there in time. As you all know, I'm a night owl and I do not go to bed early. So, this will be interesting to see if I get up and get out of the house on time. I am planning on staying late and working on adding some new inventory. This will give me plenty of time and I won't be rushed trying to do it before the afternoon shift, that I normally work. I'll be working again Wednesday afternoon. This is the week I picked up an extra shift to help another lady out. Depending on how I do with getting up and out of the house, will determine if I work anymore morning shifts. I'll let you all know if I set off the alarm..haha! Do you have anything exciting going on tomorrow? Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

That sounds like fun--not!! Got to be sneaky!! I always gave the twins a choice when they were little and both worked in my favor but they got to decide so they were happy.

That would be awful to set off the alarm. Do you know how to turn it off if you do set it going?

Tomorrow will be another day of working on surveys and hopefully getting paid by Branded Survey in the afternoon so I can make my deposit into the bank to assist my relative buy groceries.

Good luck with getting your payment. My favorite survey site apparently went under so I am doing MyPoints and Swagbucks now.

We are the same. Waking up so early makes us grumpy. I think, night owls tend to be more productive from 11am onwards.

Oh yes, I have made so many plans, I'll do a lot of keypunching then cook a hot meal ... or maybe not ... and of course trying to appease Roscoe because the poor lil fella wants to play and I'm too old to play the way he wants

I was going to ask you if he was good and spoiled yet? You may have to rent a kid for a few hours this summer to play with him!!

Oh, he's spoiled alright but he does learn quickly as long as I have the energy to repeat a lesson over and over and over and ..... ok, you get the picture.

I didn't! I just posted on it a few minutes ago. I had a quiet day with quiet hour, then a steady hour on and off all day. Not too bad!

You should probably set your alarm to ensure you get up on time. Let us know how everything went.

That doesn't work for me. My REM sleep is from 4:30 am to around 7 am. I've had several sleep studies done in the past. I used to have to be at work at 7:30 so got up at 5:30 to get there on time and that was with minimal primping in the morning!! I had a 2 hour drive to work.

No alarm went off!! But I went in the wrong door and was in total darkness trying to find my way across the room to get out to the open area where the alarm is.

When I am worried that I won't get up in time, I set 2 alarms and even ask someone to call me at the time I need to get up so I don't oversleep. That's the only way I can relax enough to go to sleep. Tomorrow I am meeting a friend for lunch. Hope your day goes well tomorrow.

I have the hubby in charge of the alarm because I shut them off in my sleep and don't get up!! I made it on time and was up at 6:45!

@kareng That is smart. I am glad you got up in time. I place my alarm across the room so I am forced to get up and turn it off. I don't usually go back to bed...unless I have given myself a few extra minutes. But that could be dangerous!
