Shanny’s random thoughts #2

While out today with my baby doing some important things and getting groceries etc I had two random thoughts.
The first was I wonder if my cracked windshield will make it so I get pulled over. I don’t speed but I think I have a break light out so if they can site you for things they see it’ll be two things needing repairs. Both need to be taken care of ASAP anyway. You can see in my photo how my windshield cracked this past weekend. (I did not get pulled over)
The second random thought was that I shouldn’t leave the car running to keep it warm while I feed the baby in the back seat because someone could jump in and highjack the car. (No one came near my car)
In other news I got two nice compliments today while I was out at the bank. A woman asked me how I lost the weight from the baby so fast with her only being 6 months.
Well with my first two I lost the baby weight before even leaving the hospital so taking 6 months for my body to go back to a size 2 felt like an eternity. I honestly never thought it would but this past week the extra weight seemed to just disappear even after eating way to much at meals lately.
She also told me she loved the color of my eyeshadow. So sweet of her!

@just4him I was a 0 in high school then size 2 as an adult. I didn’t think I’d ever go back down to a size 2 at my age which was why I bought new pants for $50 in size 4. Now I’m regretting that as they are way to big and I not wore them maybe 4 times.

Well, your errands turned out well, despite what could have happened...so yay!

@snowy22315 this will be our secret. If I told my husband my thoughts he would tell me I worry to much as usual.

I hope your windshield has been fixed by now. The thing with pregnancy weight loss; from what I gathered information on is you tend to lose it faster just after giving birth.
The recovery period of 1-3 months is the challenging part where many moms have to fight hunger pangs. That lady was nice to compliment you. Have a good day to you.

@ihasaquestion I lost it immediately with my first two children but not quickly with this baby. There’s 17 and 14 years between my first children and this one.
I don’t want to be hungry all the time fighting hunger pangs. That’s not good for our bodies. I just eat and complain I’m fat

@ihasaquestion I think most everyone’s metabolism slows as they get older. Most it seems r happen soon after high school. I got lucky and mine hasn’t slowed much over the years it seems.

@shaggin I guess as women, our metabolism tend to decrease as we grow older. You did great by giving birth to them, and eat all you want as long as you feel healthy..that's all that matters.

@CarolDm she’s currently sleeping on my lap. I forget her blanket when I brought her in to feed her so I have her wrapped in my housecoat. Snuggles are the best. When she wakes up we have to run to town for some distilled water and go to the bank and post office etc. Then hopefully I remember to call around about the windshield.

@jaboUK I called around today at 4 pm for quotes. The cheapest so far is $245 without tax includes etc. I’m waiting on a return call for one more place and hopefully I can get an appointment booked soon so if I get pulled over I can tell them when and where it will be.

@Janet357 nope I just eat what I want and I’ve been at overeating at dinner so I’m surprised I haven’t put on weight instead. The girl asked me if I work out. Nope I have no time for it. Just running around doing housework and taking care of the baby is all.
