As those of you know from reading my discussion, When sitting on the porch pays off, that the problem with my internet connection was fixed, then last night I found out I had a nother problem.
I hadn't watched any tv channels since Monday night, most of the time I only watch them on Monday, Wensday and Sunday nights, most of the time I'm watching shows on Netflix and other services. Well last night I turned it on to watch my one program I always watch and nothing came on, I didn't have any cable tv channels except 2 and that was the 2 tv guide channels. So I started thinking that maybe I needed to redo a channel search since they had worked on the equipment. That didn't help at all, still no channels.
So today I got up early and called the phone company and told the waman on the line my problem. I will admit I did get a little irritated at one point. After I told the woman the problem and about the technician fixing the equipment, this is what she said "Ma'am I do have to tell you that if the problem is on you end we will have to charge you $60.00 to fix it" I said to her " Well ma'am, it was working fine before the man came out and did whatever he did to it, so I don't think it would be on my end" lol So I did what she said and did a channel search 2 times like she said, knowing it wasn't going to work, afterword , I had to wait for her to call me back in an hour to see if it worked.
She finally said she would send someone out, they arrived about an hour later.
It didn't take them long to find the problem, it must have been something to do with whatever the person did to the equipmemt by the house. He had me to do a channel search again and this time it started picking up the channels, when it was through it had picked up even more channels then I had before.
I'm sure glad that's fixed!

Glad to hear that is fixed sounds like the guy that fixed your issue the other day may have caused an issue to have to have someone come out again.

I think whatever he did caused it to, they didn't say what the problem was though so I would think it would be something he done.

@Tina30219 No, they didn't give me anything or tell me what the problem was. When I thanked them for fixing the problem, they just told me if I had anymore problems let them know and then they left.

@sweetashoney Think so. Did they give you any paper work after they fixed the problem saying what was done and what the problem was?

cool you had to pay for the mishap/mix up, with your nerves and stress but at least you got more channels. I think they should take a few dollars off our bill when we have to go without service, but no, they never do.

Would you believe my youngest son was paying for his service for about 3 months before they ever fixed it. I told him I wouldn't have been paying for it then. I'm like you, I think they shouldn't have charged him for them months.

I'm glad they got it fixed, I'm just crossing my fingers that when my bill comes they don't charge me the $60.00 and say it was on my end as the woman called it.
