Few of the pictures of the war were so upsetting.

Yesterday I was watching the news where the father was sending his daughter to a safe place and they both were crying because they knew they won't be able to meet again in life.
The father was going to join the army of Ukraine and didn't know it would be able to survive. That was so heart-melting.
A 60-year-old man was crying when getting separated from his family. He was cursing Putin for it.
People were hiding in shelter homes and the underground metro stations.
The buildings were burning and Russian tanks were running on the roads.
Similar photos were shown of the civilians there in pain and fear.
Hope the war ends soon.

@Vikingswest1 and most probably they will deny it as they won't like to fight with Russia.

If NATO formally rejected Ukraine as a member, this could be over.

The war would not end till Putin who seems to have turned over ambitious and senseless, has not achieved his ambition of overthrowing the Government of Ukraine and installing his puppet.
Besides, a civilization that does not values its own people's lives and livelihoods is hardly expected to care about other people dying or suffering.
I wonder why didn't Ukraine Military place any Landmines around its land borders.
Why even after so much warning, US and NATO did not supply sufficient weapons to Ukraine to hold back Russia.
As of now, Ukraine's time is running out and situation very grim.

Putin is not listening to expert advice. Nor to his own citizens. He seems to have lost all conscience.

Those are really upsetting visuals. I am not watching the news channels. I can not take it. But one thing is very clear that wars will continue to happen, no matter how civilized the world becomes. And the message is very loud that geopolitical and economic issues ride over the peace keeping approach. Nations have to strengthen themselves and not depend on any organization and foreign nation. UN has failed once again in a big way.

@arunima25 this happens after any war. But I feel the war will extend if the European countries come forward to help Ukraine.

@sjvg1976 Whatever geopolitical angle or economic angle that one gives, there is no logic for a war. Things will get back to normal between the two nations sooner or later, but so many families and lives would be ruined forever.
We had enough such upsetting scenes from Afghanistan and now this war.. Now no one cares about the plight of Afghanistan and no media gives them a footage. But life there suffers.

Asianet news channel was in touch with people from Kerala through phone and talks were telecasting through the channel. So people are trying to get out of the war place through different medium. They were walking long distance to reach a safe place. I know this is only one incident of the story.
Hope the war will be ended soon by the efforts of other countries.

War is nothing but cruelty to humankind. There is no honorable way to kill someone and the Russians attacking civilians just proves the horrors of war.
