I am not making fake news about this matter. I got this information from my Chinese students online. It has been more than weeks that they are kept on saying that their cities or provinces are being locked down. So they are reliable sources. It is beyond my imagination to have a new normal life, but they can not control the situation yet. The majority claimed that Guangdong province and Hong Kong are in a new surge of this killer virus. Chinese people are being asked to be tested. By the way, we have only one infected case and one recovered as of today.
What is the condition at your place now?

We must have a firm belief that we can defeat the virus

I remember our discussion couple months ago about real source.
You were absolutely right.
Wonder why this is happening again?
Is someone putting it back in the air to cause mayhem.
I just don't understand why when the world is recovering and some people have stopped wearing masks.

@Shavkat I agree with you I also think the intial source is Wuhan.
I wonder what cause it to start again.
I heard the first time something had escape out of the lab when they were conducting experiments to find a vaccine for SARS1.That is why Covid 19 is also called SARS2.

In fact I think our rules are getting crazy and this is not right. I had Covid-19 test for four times within a week already. I don't think it is a good idea to always have the Covid-19 test as the virus can be spread easily in this way. I tend to think that Omicron is less deadly and there is no way we stop everything to stop it since it is not possible. It is fine that we do our precautions well and and the situation won't be so worse like today.

Looks like the virus just got back to where it all started. I really do not know the state of infection in our place since dept of health has not been issuing regular updates anymore. But things are looking very normal already no more checking pass when you got to malls or places.

I've been reading about the situation, not just in China but other countries as well. A couple of months ago I was talking to someone in the medical field. She is following very closely the goings on of Covid. She and some of her colleagues are quite concerned about the new variant.
Our next door neighbor works in a hospital in our area and she told us that we just have to live with and deal with Covid. I don't think it's totally going away.
Right now our area is not too bad but I'm just waiting for the next wave. It could happen soon.

Things are easing up here . . . but we can't/aren't letting our guards down. New variants are talked about and it's quite obvious this virus still lingers all over the world, some places worse than others. I can't help but think we, as a world, are not done with this yet.

Our news reported about the outbreak in China. It's like a roller coaster with the ups and downs of covid and all the variants.
Things hete are easing but I'm sure it won't last long

Thanks for your kind concern. Some provinces do have more than before. I think the main reason is that the balance between economy and epidemic prevention is difficult to catch. Due to the reduction of lethality, I think China's dynamic-zero-clearing policy will be loosened.
