Friends Are A Blessing

Was talking to a good friend this morning. We have been friends since childhood. So nice to still have her friendship, no matter what. She lives over 500 miles away but we can always talk about anything. She called to tell me about another grandson she has. She has four children and they all have kids. I am so happy for her. But depending on my mood, it can be emotional to hear about her big family. I miss not having one. I always try to keep my emotions to myself because I really am so proud and happy for her. She did most of raising her children on her own, after her divorce years ago. She has a lot to be proud of. And I am so blessed to call her my friend. Photo sent to me in email.

Some good friends are always nice to talk to. Your friend did endure a lot during her lifetime. It is not easy to sustain oneself when having such a condition.

Yes she is a keeper for sure. I was a single parent for 14 of my son's 16 years.

She's so lucky to have such a dear friend in you.

I have a best friend, we are making plans on a get together once the weather turns nice again, we want to have an outdoor visit. But planning is half of the fun.
