Rain in the midst of Summer

For a very long time already my place has not received rain since we are in the middle of the summer season. But today, I was surprised that it was raining and it lasted the whole day pouring. Highly unlikely in my place that it would continuously rain this long since it usually rains for a very short time and then the sun comes out immediately during summers. But today the sun did not show up and it was all gray and wet the whole day already. I am hoping that tomorrow will be sunny again since it is summer.

I am glad that I am living in Baguio City. The weather is not too hot here during the summer season.

Oh I love your place BTW. The weather there is almost always the same cool and not that hot. But I have experienced humid days there too.

@Shavkat Yeah that is why they call it the summer capital of our country. It is the best play to stay away from the hot summer days.

I see Morrocco is in Africa and rain is indeed rare in your place. In my place, it is quite normal but not at this point in time since it is supposed to be summer season right now and yet it is raining like it is rainy season in here. This is rare because the timing is just not the right time for now. But it is a relief indeed to cool the climate for a while. Forecasts are saying that it may stop anytime tomorrow and sunny days would start to shine again.

@Babino It has stopped already today. The weather forecast today says that we will start having fair weather again. Yesterday's rain was just too unusual during summer. But it was also a break from the hot summer days we are having and enjoyed a bit of the cool weather.

I think we got our sun for a couple of days but it seems another unlikely thing is happening a typhoon has just been detected that is directly heading towards us. Another event that is not supposed to happen in the midst of summer.

Although the rains have been a relief to me since it has been very hot the past days. So, the rain is a welcome relief for us actually. It is just not comfortable to travel at this time of the day since the traffic would surely be bad on the road and it's hard to find a car to ride anywhere.

True I also welcome it but the thing is it's not really refreshing since the weather is very humid and despite the low temperature, we are experiencing it still is very humid that is because the summer heat is still very present at this time just no sun is shining.

Yeah, I have heard about that and it covers almost all of the islands. It is even worst in the southern islands since some have had really bad weather that there were flooded areas.

That is true, though since it is summer still the warm temperature can still be felt around. It still is humid and not that comfortable in my place still. But the cool winds make it a little better than the dry and hot days.
