Would You Stay a Night at The Stanley Hotel?

April 22, 2022 4:17am CST
Hello cool people, What's up over there wherever you are? It's been awhile since I've started any discussion, so for today, let's do it. It is widely believed that the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park Colorado to be haunted. Just surf through the net for countless descriptions, stories, videos of paranormal activity and the likes regarding the hotel. My discussion for today is why do you think that the hotel is haunted, and would you dare to spend a night at the hotel either by yourself or with a companion? Do you mind the possible "haunting" experience and would you rent a night in any of the so called rumored haunted rooms believed to have lots of disturbances etc. Read this, if you will: https://www.tripsavvy.com/the-haunted-stanley-hotel-4108817 Share your thoughts, mylotters, and see you around in other discussions.

There are people who love to be scared so l think the haunted hotel is just a gimmick. If horror movies and suspense movies were not popular they won't make them. I won't stay in a haunted hotel to be scared. The world we live in is scary enough.

I agree with your last sentencing that the world is crazy and scary enough. But for some reason, if you guys check out the link I provided, the "hot" rooms can be fully booked at times. So, was wondering what could be the main attraction that people would want to scare themselves, in a way like you said.

@Kandae11 Stanley Hotel is very popular indeed. I get what you mean; where there's a market for it, people will flock. So, if they offer you money to stay the night, would you do it or take a pass?

I think the hotel owners have created this gimmick to draw some tourist attention, though it seems odd.

I’ve heard of this hotel. I would never even be able to visit there let alone spend the night there.

I would stay there. I am not afraid of ghosts. I once lived in a house that was haunted.

Somehow I always feel scared when I stay at the hotel alone, last month I went to the capital alone because I have something to do there is no other choice I have to stay at the hotel alone for 1 week every night I always make video calls with my husband and I ask him to didn't hang up the phone Until the morning for 1 week it happened after that I looked for another hotel on the app and I found a room share hostel that had a room and 4 beds in it so I didn't sleep alone anymore so I didn't bother my husband anymore.

Were you on a work assignment or something? Why were you alone and did not bring a family member along? Glad that nothing happened. It was brave of you nevertheless.

@ihasaquestion I have an appointment at the Belgium embassy all embassies are only in the capital. I think not everyone will always be there for me, I also don't want to bother other people because of my business that's why I want to get used to doing my own thing. I'm happy coz I'm fine, thank you

I think it's just a suggestion, or the feeling of the hotel visitor, who happens to be cowardly. I think whichever hotel building we stay in, if we fill our minds with feelings of worry or fear, then we will feel more and more scary things. Because our fear will chase us.

So, you won't mind staying alone for the night in a rumored haunted hotel?

@sinari Your answer is very enlightening. I don't think any ghost would want to bother you because you have a good level of bravery in that sense.

@ihasaquestion Yes, coincidentally in my place there is no hotel that is rumored to have a ghost. In my opinion, if there is a good hotel, why should we deliberately stay at a hotel that is rumored to have a ghost? it's the same we are looking for trouble, or lack of work However, if for example I or we are somewhere, and if at that time there are no more empty in or hotels. Then I had to be forced to stay in a hotel room that was rumored to have a ghost, so I would stay in that hotel room. Instead of having to sleep outside the hotel where the air is cold and dark because of the night. I'd rather sleep in the hotel room. Usually I will pray first. I will call on the name of the Lord Jesus and His Angels to guard me and protect me from the forces of darkness including ghosts. And I have to believe and believe that God Almighty will protect me, and give courage in my heart, and give peace in my heart, so that I can sleep peacefully in that hotel room. And most importantly, I believe, that the SPIRIT of GOD that is within me is far greater than all the spirits that exist in this world (including the ghost spirit ). So if I have prayed and surrendered myself to God, then God will protect me. So I won't be afraid anymore. Then, my habit, if I enter or are in a strange room or room, a room that is a bit scary, then I try to be calm and not afraid. Because if I am afraid, then I believe that fear will haunt me and make my heart uneasy. but if I try to be calm and not afraid, then I am sure that the spirit or demon in the room will not disturb me, because I am not afraid of the ghost, so that the ghost will feel that I am his friend visiting the room where he lives. LOL
