Received wrong food

So, this is Friday night in this part of the World and I decided to indulge myself with some Chinese food. I was working beyond my usual office hours, and so as couldn't leave my workstation, I ordered some noodles through the food delivery app. There were options to pay on delivery but I decided to pay online beforehand so that I don't need to deal with cash and change. I ordered two noodles, one for my brother and another for myself and the order was to come from a pretty far away restaurant. When the order did arrive after almost 1 hour, I grabbed the packet and just starting to go back quickly. All of a sudden, I felt the packet to be a bit empty, and I saw that there is only one noodles there. The delivery guy got a bit shocked too and he said that they aren't supposed to see the contents in a delivery. He then took the bill from me and there it revealed that the order was meant to be of a customer who ordered through another food delivery app. He then talked about it with the customer support of the delivery app and finally asked me if I want to keep it or cancel the order. As the order had special Hakka Noodles, so I decided to make a compromise and keep the item, but I made sure that I get refunded for the other plate of noodles. And my gamble proved quite fruitful, as this noodles turned out to be more expensive and no doubt very relishing. And just now, I received a coupon code same as my refund amount which I can redeem while ordering through the app within 30 days. How is your day going?

Wow, I can imagine your disappointment when you received the wrong package. Supposedly 2 packs of noodles, but you only receive 1 pack of noodles. Fortunately, everything ended well, because your money for another packet of noodles has been returned. I hope you don't experience anything like this again.

A mistake that worked out okay for you. At least you had something you liked and didn't have to refuse the order when it arrived

I'm glad they politely refunded your money and gave you a coupon code you can redeem:) This means, their mistake was paid for twice, to benefit you as their customer:)

Glad that it was ended well, you waiting for 1 hour for the foods? It was busy hours? I will not orders anything at that hours.
