We don't often have jam because of Vince's diabetes so we don't have any at the moment. I like jam and cream on bread. When we lived on the farm, we had as much cream to eat as we wanted. We always had a couple of 'house cows' that we milked once or twice a day. Our minimum temperatures are now ranging between about 9 and 14 C. Maximums about 20 to 27 C so it's a lot cooler than a month ago.

Danie is spoilt too. And we never treated her like she's a dog except for her food which I'm very strict about. No human food for Danie. I've always believed they're unhealthy. She is given the best quality dog food we could find. We love Danie to bits and she is like my real human daughter.

@JudyEv Sure. But I breed my dog and when I see my friends feeding human food, I always say something and they listen coz they know I know how much I love dogs and they know I know more than them.

@JudyEv I had a Boston Bull-mixed breed, years back. I'd say "Teddy, want a panny-cake?" He'd go into flips, spins and get all excited, he loved whenever we had pancakes! I'd share the last one with him:) Ted lived to be fourteen years old, not too bad for an old bull dog!

@JudyEv Yes, I and my younger son give our dog Kuttu rice boiled with chicken or mutton. He is in Copenhagen now with my younger son.

She is probably about 4 or 5 now. We are not really dog people either and won't be getting one although a lot of people here do have dogs. It makes it hard to go away if you have a dog or cat.

We won't be getting a pet here either as we go away too much. We don't have a lot of room here and I think a pet would really be a bit of a nuisance.

That's funny that you mentioned breakfast for Aprill. Anytime I cook breakfast I always make a small plate of food for our dog. He eats just about everything we eat it seems. Well, except for foods like chocolate which are bad for him.
