Such excitement these days. After two years of waiting. The bluebirds showed up. Built a nest. Now the female has laid three eggs. I hope they have more soon. They will lay one little blue treasure each day. Usually between 3-5 eggs will be laid.
Lots of joy and excitement in Dustin's garden. This was the original reason for creating his garden. To attract bluebirds and butterflies. For ten years the bluebirds would come and raise families. The last two years they were unsuccessful due to other birds taking over.
This year, so far, is the lucky one. Fingers crossed for a successful family.
Thank you for those who have asked ( @ptrikha_2 ) about the progress of the bluebirds. Your comments are very much appreciated.
Photo is mine.

Thanks for bringing out this discussion.
The eggs look magnificent.
I can imagine a story about "Magical Blue Eggs" with some twists N turns.
Keen to see young birds in the coming days!

This sounds mean, but I'd be chasing the other birds away from this nest! Some birds are predators who break and eat the bluebirds eggs! You already knew this, I'm sure.

Oh, aren’t they beautiful?!?? My tenants disappeared. EVERYTHING: the birds, the hatchlings, and the nest. Without a trace (no signs of a struggle like feathers or blood, and no sign of the nest being torn up).
Anyway, hope you get some lovely babies from the lovely eggs.

I have a bluebird nesting in my front yard tree. The nest is too high up, right above where I can see inside of it, but I can see her head and she sits there pretty much all the time, just like last year. So I think she is sitting on eggs. I look forward to their hatching. Last year they left the nest on a really nice day and I got lucky to see them learn to fly.
