Waiting on a Window Estimate

Waiting on a representative to come and give me a window estimate this afternoon. The windows looking out to the backyard need replacing.
They are the argon (gas) insulated windows and the gas has leaked out into one of the panes. All you can do is replace them at this stage.
I want to see how much it will be to get a full window across the back with a pane for the cat door at the bottom. This will be really nice, if it doesn't cost a gazillion dollars.
Another hot day, getting inside projects done this week.

@RebeccasFarm For insulation. They are double paned windows.

That is a very good idea of a new window. I hope you can have for less.

I hope that you received your estimate that that it isn't too terrible.
We had a big bay window, which as 10 feet across.
A seal on one of the panes broke and we had that leakage too, its so hard to see out of the window after that happens.
It was a freak accident, birds used to fly into that window often, and that was what caused the seal to break.
When I think of all of the hits that window took from soccer balls over the years, and it was just a bird that caused the seal to go.
The window replacement would have been $10,000, so instead of doing that we listed the house and sold.

Too bad about your window. Birds often fly into the patio doors from the deck and the screen room as well. Windows were ordered yesterday. Very excited. Got a few discounts done the screen room was purchased by the same company. Installation will be in a few weeks. Customs orders take about eight weeks to get done.,

Windows are expensive. Several need replacing here too. Good luck with the estimate.

Those windows are really pretty. A door for the Dude and Brendel will be so helpful. Hopefully you can get a reasonable estimate.

@MarshaMusselman That will have to be installed by us, but not a problem. Ordered from Amazon and it will fit.

That's how your windows look like in the photo? It's great. Hope your budget for that is enough if not less for a conservative cost est
