I enjoy a walk in the park

Dallas, Texas

Before the heatwave that hit Dallas in June, and basically hit about every state in the US, sometime back in April, I took my Canon digital camera along with me to the Rugged Drive Park that has been upgraded with walk paths fully paved in concrete and park benches, with barbecue pits, and water fountains and playground area for children and a basketball court for teens and young adults. Here is one picture I think you will enjoy! Peace.

@LindaOHio Well, it took time to upgrade the local city parks, but over the past few years, during the pandemic, the city actually took advantage of working on landscaping and facilities and tree planting to encourage people to get out and enjoy themselves as initially many were confined to their homes but having a lovely looking park was an encouragement for the community to reconnect outside their immediate homes and regain some sense of normalcy.

@lookatdesktop Oh, OK. It looks like parks here. Does waking there make you sing Louis's version of "What a Beautiful World"?

@TheHorse My favorite version actually is the version, sung by Jon Batiste. The piano player and leader of his band who perform nightly on The Late Show, with Stephen Colbert. You know. That show with the guy who likes to say intelligent satirical stuff about Trump and other celebrities ? I have Jon Batiste's CD. We Are

The picture was too large. I need to reduce the image to a much smaller size to post it for the title pic. But I will try to reduce it later and post it. my Canon digital camera takes very good .jpg images but they are large size for memory. What is the size limit for title pics for myLot? I forgot.
