I have been listening to this lovely song "You've Got A Friend" for a few times this afternoon. I have always loved that song and was wondering if you feel the same about it.
The first times I heard that song, I feel in love with it instantly.
I have a few of those songs that I love to listen to here and there.
Do you?
James Taylor & Carole King

This is one of my favorite songs, Bridge over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel is also a good one.

I miss a lot of the older songs. I stopped keeping up with both the country and pop music scenes of recent years. There are a lot of the older songs, like "You've Got a Friend" that I would get and keep handy. I remember my parents telling me how much they didn't like the "modern" songs back in the 60's. Then they discovered that they weren't that bad in the 90's. I had a great laugh out of that. Especially when my Mom started playing them on her organ.
