One Credit Card Down

Yesterday, I paid the full payment amnesty program offered by the EastWest Bank credit card. There were only three requirements they asked before they approve you to avail that abovementioned program. I was therefore approved and I paid the whole amount and suddenly they emailed me back saying the amount I paid was insufficient. I did not notice that there was number 2 in the amount offered. So, this morning I added a certain amount they were asking. I can now wait for the certificate of full payment from them. Rest assured I am free from this card. Phew! Such a relief. I have one less credit card of burden now. I still have to deal with my other credit cards.

Getting out of debt is hard. There's a reason I don't want or use credit cards. I'm glad you're getting yours paid off.

@Neil43 Yeah, I'm sure... I hope you're doing okay otherwise? I haven't seen you post anything new on your YT channel. Everything going okay there?

That is super cool. So much red tape to get through. I just paid my house taxes through the internet. The bums had to have another 25.00 for a "convenience fee." cause I paid on line.

@Neil43 I agree. 25.00 is a lot of money but now I don't have to figure about parking and waiting in line.

I like it when everything is processed online and you don't have to file yourself in a very long queue.

Keep working at it. Credit card debt is a slippery slope. I have paid off serveral in the past year, and one is within striking distance now.

I'm glad that you were able to pay that. It's not always easy getting out of debt, but it's nice when you can.
