I Feel Pretty Fortunate

Good morning to you all. I hope you are all having a nice morning and have plans for a fun and/or interesting day ahead. I was just thinking that I am very fortunate not to have any food allergies or sensitivities. My cousin is allergic to all kinds of foods and such and cannot eat a lot of food items. I feel so bad for him. I have normal allergies to dust and pollen but not to any foods. I just cannot imagine what it would be like to have to be careful what I ate. Do have food allergies?

Yes, I can't eat seafoods or fish of any kind. It isn't difficult to avoid them, though.

Oh, it would be for me. I love all kinds of seafood and fish. Yum! When you haven't had them I would think it would be easy to avoid them.

@DaddyEvil ........I find scallops to be like trying to eat rubber. Some are better than others but they cook them too well I think.

@celticeagle I used to eat scallops any time I had the chance. Then I was hospitalized and the doctor told me no more seafood. So I avoid it. I'm not fond of spending any time in a hospital.

I am also so grateful that I don't have any allergy to food or anything except for the nagging attitude of my beloved wife.

I am just lactose intolerant; and that can be helped with lactose pills.

Fortunately l have never been allergic to anything that l know of. I would hate being allergic to peanuts, because l love peanut butter.

I am fortunate not to have any known food allergies. When I was very young, I did have some, I recall strawberries making me feel like my skin was on fire, and had to be careful about any citrus fruits as well. For some weird unknown reason, those particular allergies disappeared as I grew up. I still have a lot of other allergies, but they are not food related

I guess we all have to have a sensitivity to something.
