3 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I got up early, as usual. This time a thought woke me up. I realized the event I'm going to on Thursday with my sister is a night event and I don't drive at night. I was out of bed at 3:30. I went to bed at 8 so I almost had eight hours of sleep. I'm thankful I contacted my sister. I'm still going to the event. I only need to figure out how to get there. They can't pick me up. I called my son. He said he would work it out. I told him I would buy him dinner since we're meeting at a restaurant before the event. I'm thankful for the work I did on Love's Illusion. I read and edited four chapters. I'm thankful for Writer's Guild. We had a very interesting meeting tonight. I read part of chapter 8 of Love's Illusion and got excellent feedback. I need more description on the historical event taking place in the book. I'm grateful they all liked it. I have a month to enhance it, expand on the historical event, and read it again next month, maybe. Love's Illusion is the book I tried to finish last year. I'm thankful for the time I spent with you. You are an important part of my life. I love spending time in your world to see what you are doing, your concerns, joys, and victories. That's my day. It's still raining here, so the roads will be icy again in the morning before it warms up. I think there's also rain in tomorrow's forecast. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading.
