Losses and grief

My sister passed at noon today. Last night her daughters, who are both nurses, agreed together that there were going to be no more invasive procedures. Her arteries were full of plaque, that is why her bowel began to die. Her lungs were. Her brain was full of plaque and showed evidence of an older stroke. I will miss her, but I have memories. By working in her home I got to spend extra time with her for a few months. While Bob was sick my cats left one by one. I have been grieving them as well. I felt like they were aggravated with Bitty and also were missing Bob. I have been down to Bitty, who is a wild child. My sister's cat will come to live here, Bob says he wants him. I did not want another cat, but my niece was taking him grudgingly, afraid of the dynamics with her four year old and her elderly cat. Zeus is a big boy. I would say 20 pounds and about five years old. Indoor only. Somewhat scared of the outdoors. The back story as I understand it is he was found abandoned in a park and taken to a shelter. My sister paid the adoption fees for her friend Ron to have both Zeus and a small dog. Ron struggled with cleaning the cat tray, he gets very dizzy. When my sister found a new home for her bird, she adopted Zeus and spoiled him rotten. Bob is home alone a lot, and Zeus always enjoyed it when we visited. I could not tell Bob no. The neighbor is caring for Zeus now, I think we will get him tomorrow. Of course pictures will follow.
