Wow cNotable....
how many years passed since I bought my first records of the Doors....
I loved and still I love Doors music, I have all their records (not many records, in truth, but enough to consider them one of the most important band in the world).
I didnt' know that a new collection of live music from the Doors came out.... a great new, I'll see to find it in a shop of my town.

I really like the music of The Doors, very cool indeed. 'Light my Fire' and 'Love Street' are two of my favourite Doors songs. I think they had such appeal because of their slightly dangerous rock edge, a bit like the early Stones. Have you seen the Oliver Stone film about the Doors? I understand the remaining Doors didn't think much of it. Great music, though.

I am fan. I like the Doors. I appreciate the lyrics that are written by Jim Morrison. He was calling himself the "lizard king" and he was right. He had so much mentallity that ellured you to states of mind you never guessed they excisted. The "Break On through" song is just a description of what we must do. Break on through... to the other side!
Personally I adore the "Spanish Caravan" song.

I grew up with the Doors. I can recall vividly when "Light My Fire" came out in the spring of 1967. I went nuts when I first heard it on the radio. It was my favorite song for many years. I did like many of the Doors songs. They are nice to listen to once in a while. "LA Woman" still makes me want to get up and dance. That is a high energy song for me. I have several of their albums on vynal. I still think their first album was their best.
