Do you believe that giving chocolate as a present to people is a good idea?

On Valentine's Day, most women enjoy receiving some chocolates and a bouquet of flowers. In my opinion, chocolates make terrific presents for both ladies and children. It is acceptable to select chocolates as a present.
What gift would you prefer to get on this important day, if you were to receive anything?

@LadyDuck Yes, my parents too! My dad was the gardener, so somehow he was able to keep these plants thriving. Even if I had bought the same plant at the same time for our yard, mine would be long gone while theirs got big and continued to live.

I think that is very hard you find a woman that don't like to receive chocolates and I can say the same about flowers.
One tip that I can give to you is give one not in a special date like Valentine's Day.
