is back with my editor. I spent 12-14 hours between Saturday and Sunday working on it. I finished the work about 4pm this afternoon. I don't know how long it will be until he has a chance to look at it again. If he okays the new version, it will be time to start working on formatting the manuscript as an e-book. If all goes well, I may still be able to launch the book on the March 1 target date. Are you good at meeting deadlines?

Deadlines were a way of life when I worked as an accountant. Then, as a teacher, more deadlines. I'm pretty good at hitting them.

Deadlines are a way of life for a teacher. And for a writer.

How long I have to wait depends on how busy my editor is. Editing isn't his primary job.

Wow, congrats on finishing your book! I have to say I'm quite good at meeting deadlines. Can't guarantee the quality of the work, though, as that would depend on a lot of things for me haha

The deadline I have to meet is next week. I have to unpawn my cellular phone: I have the money but is still in the process of landing at Payoneer. As soon as the money gets deposited into my Payoneer account, I will be able to transfer it to my bank account and then get my phone back from the pawnshop

@DWDavis That´s true. who would have thought that a telephone would become a basic necessity item?

I know you will be happy to have your phone back. It is amazing how quickly we become accustomed to having something always at hand that we never knew we needed 20 years ago.
