This is another kind of online shopping here

Actually this is not something new, it might be available since last year. This kind of online shopping is mainly for groceries and it is based on phone app. You can order groceries like meats, vegetables, snacks, drinks, plants, fruits etc. and you will have to go to nearby to pick them up by yourself next day. These goods will be delivered to your nearby little stores as long as they open this service. I chose a stationary store which is away from my home about 189 meters. Since I have to bring my gregories next day by myself, so the price is competitive than other online shopping. Today I asked my husband to bring 2 dozen cans of as it is heavy

Do you also have to pick up your stuffs next day? If I choose the normal online shopping stores, usually it will deliver in an hour.

@youless during the pandemic, there is a time and date they will deliver. But now I think the goods can be delivered after one to two hours

I think buying it and getting it next day is a creative way since the price will be very nice.

I have two stores near me that deliver. They have been doing this for several years now. I have both apps on my phone. I can also get some items quickly for a charge. It is very convenient. I only pay $8 for this.

If you buy a certain amount and they will deduct your delivery fee, it may be even better

In many parts of the USA we have retailers like Walmart or Whole Foods Markets where people can have groceries delivered to their homes, usually these kinds of services have a yearly service fee but it is not a large amount.

Well, it costs more than what I want to do so I don't bother with it, I buy pantry items online and simply go to the store if I need fresh or frozen foods.

I shopped online when covid first came out, but I no longer do that. I shop for my own groceries.

Usually the product price will be high in the supermarket. And if you buy it from its app, then the price will be better since they will offer you discounts. And if you buy groceries from other groceries apps rather than supermarket, then the price will be lower. All of these can deliver the groceries for you. If you buy groceries and getting them next day by yourself, the price will be the best

@youless This is very interesting, we have nothing like this here, too small countries, very few grocers chains.
