Staying calm in difficult situations is tough but one can keep trying!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too.
As most of you know through my recent blogs that I am recovering as had fallen ill. I am stuck at home. I can't go out much as been told not to drive vehicle for a month because of vertigo problem.
Being all the time at home isn't for me. I do some household chores and rest of the time I am here or filling surveys. I feel mom's are very over protective and overcaring. Especially my mom is.
We had a fight as I didn't tell her yesterday where I was roaming as gone for drive. I made her understand that it skip my mind but she got all emotional and dramatic that she is concern for me and all which I understand.
Everytime I am out and to come home I give her a call. This one time , it didn't happen and she created a scene. I just hope and pray to get a calm mind staying at home.
Let me know your thoughts about it. Any tips for staying calm are welcome. The worst part is I can't listen to music with handsfree which I enjoyed lot and helped me to calm my mind.
I think the bad days will soon get over and I will get my freedom again to do what I want. Have a good day!! Take care!!

Oh dear...I have been busy so I missed out on your post relating to vertigo problem. I hope you recover. I once had something like that, I believe it had something to do with my ears, so the doctor cleaned it some, and gave me some medication. I recovered. I guess it was infection.
As to parents, I am old, and I have my father. The thought of him not being around scares the sh it out of me. I lost my mother early on...so I cannot say how she would have behaved. Today, I was to leave the house by 6 pm, I was ready by 7, my father created scene...I dropped the program.
I am almost 64. Still he thinks I am in 20's...LOL
Who will trouble me at 64...and in any event, I would have been back by 8 pm. But parents are parents, love them or hate them, they are indispensable...the time will pass...trust me, I have lived through much of it.
