Firing Up The Barbecue

Happy Thursday Everyone! looks like a beautiful day ahead with sunshine and warm temperatures.
It's actually nice enough to sit outside and enjoy my coffee but the lawn crew is here and aside from it being noisy, all the newly cut grass would probably give me an allergy attack. So, I'm having my coffee inside and wishing I was outside 
I'm having a debate with myself about what to make for dinner. Yesterday my daughter and I had decided on pasta but since the weather is so nice I'm now thinking maybe it would be fun to barbecue.
Chicken or burgers??? both sound good to me
This would be the first barbecue of the season and I'm actually looking forward to cooking outside in the months ahead.
As I'm sitting here chatting I think I've made my decision....barbecue it is!

I like eating barbecue. I hate barbecuing! I always got burned, so I gave our grill away twenty years ago. Barbecue doesn't taste THAT good!

@Marilynda1225 Pretty wouldn't even try to barbecue anything. I put meat into an aluminum pan, cover it with barbecue sauce and bake it. It comes out good but it's not barbecued.

I've pretty much handed the bbq torch over to my daughter. She does 99% of the grilling these days but I still enjoy it occasionally. I always feel that any meal I don't have to cook always tastes better.

Yes, I enjoy barbecuing. As most people here live in apartments, we have to go to parks for barbecuing.

This is my first house where I have a barbecue right outside my kitchen door. It's so convenient to just step outside and cook. I do remember going to the park for picnics and barbecuing in my younger days

@Marilynda1225 No, not really. We prefer them in the air fryer, we have been doing that since day #1.

I've never tried making burgers in the air fryer. Don't they splatter a lot of grease?

I have nowhere to grill now. We used to do that in the good weather in Latvia. Usually we made marinated chicken wings, burgers, or shish ka bobs

I'm lucky that I have my grill right outside my kitchen door on the deck. it's easy to just step outside and cook. I love chicken, burgers and even hot dogs on the grill but I especially like doing veggies on it too.

I love food on the BBQ. I love a hot dog slightly charred and ribs with my BBQ sauce grilled until the sauce carmelizes. YUM! So what did you have?

I like when my hot dog is slightly charred too. It just tastes so much better than just rolling it around and heating it up. I don't make ribs very often but i do like when the bbq sauce caramelizes on chicken. We wound up having burgers

The weather has not been very nice here , so it has not been the weather for barbeques. Our neighbours have lots of them in the summer and the smell sometimes makes me feel hungry.

The same here. When my neighbors barbecue the aroma can be so mouth-watering especially if they're cooking steaks

I enjoy having grilled for but I don't having to stand there too so the feeling itself. Although I have thought about grilling some steaks sometime. I've not used my grill for at least a year and will want my husband help to turn on the gas. I know it's not difficult but I like to be sure I'm doing it right.
