No celebration, but a delicious dinner

Dale and I cooked a fish stew (not sure what kind, but not catfish) and it was so good.
I fried corn bread to go with it and I think, I hope we have enough left for dinner tomorrow.
Not sure what time we'll get home tomorrow after my kidney stones removal surgery, but the stew will still be yummy.
If you're an American, hope you've enjoyed your fourth.
Talk to y'all soon.

I did enjoy my Fourth of July celebration today working on sharing good news stories on this site as well as completing surveys later on today.

Your fish stew sounds good. Just an ordinary day for me but there will be fireworks ar the beach tonight which I can see from my window, Best of luck with your surgery,

I wrote that it wasn't catfish, but it was. Fried is my favorite way to eat it, but a stew is so delicious, too.

Thanks so much, Judy. How are you doing? Have you had a lot of smoke from the wild fires in Canada?

Unfortunately I am allergic to fish, so no stew for me. Glad you enjoyed it though.
I pray that your surgery goes well, and sorry you have to go through that. Surgeries and kidney stones are both no fun. Ouch.

Thanks. The surgery went well, now just have to get the stent removed. My biggest problem right now is all my muscles hurt very much. Not sure of the cause or how to help it.

So you have kidney stones too? Was it a painful surgery?
