Honey has been my staple diet for years. I used to add it hot milk and have it in the night but since the last few months I add it to curds (Yoghurt) and have it at lunch time.
The benefits of honey is well known but the only issue is to get pure honey After a lot of search on the Net I have finally landed with a supplier who has pure honey. It is a mixed flower honey although there is honey specific to flowers such jasmine, areca and so on We had a source earlier that had honey produced in their property and the honey was areca honey. That source is closed now.
While on the subject we never extract honey from honey combs that we sometimes see in our property. That honey is for the bees.
Do you take honey and what is your source?

I discontinued consuming honey before one and half years as most of the honey we get from market is purely fake. They add honey essence with sucrose.

@allknowing I recently did some pricing research on honey. Original honey is very rare and the pricing can go 5000 INR per bottle. 1000ml approx.

@Lignitecityabishek96 Anything that is rare costs more That price you are talking of is of a honey that is extremely rare. Take for example the honey that bees produce in people's properties building bee hives and that is pure honey Similarly there are companies that produce pure honey using artificial bee hives and have acres of flowering plants and trees and that honey is pure and does not cost more than Rs. 500 a kilo

@allknowing No, sometimes. Anything that is sweet l use in moderation regardless of its health benefits. I could get those same benefits from other non sweet sources.

I order mine from one called "Ilog Maria". I want to take honey also with water because Sadhguru said it is very good for health and vitality. My fear is because of the sugar content it will cause diabetes. What do you think about it?

There is an aisle in my grocery store that features products only made in Oklahoma, my state. I only buy local honey because experts say if you do, it will help fight your allergies. I assume it is real honey because when I read the ingredients label, no strange or unfamiliar ingredients had been added.

My sister is law planted flowers and is going to get bees so she can make honey.
There are people all over within a half hour here that sell honey their bees have made. It’s too bad you can’t buy it locally like that instead of having to buy it online.

I used to have a glass of honey water every night. I got the honey from a local supplier. They closed down a few years ago. It's not easy to find pure honey. l now drink milk in the evening instead. But I still love to put some honey on waffles or pancakes.
