Question: Do you live near any pleasant green spaces?

In my neighborhood, we do not have a green garden to visit. It will take me 15 minutes to go to the nearest park in my city. I used to go there, sit on one of the benches, and entertain myself by seeing the locals there. I used to enjoy the green space in my old house, which made me relax all the time. It was like my own safest space in a new dimension. What is your safest place or comfort zone? Image Credit: live.staticflickr.com

I do see some tall trees while walking on the mountain trail here. But, it would be great if I can just sit under a tree and read a book. Unfortunately, I cannot do this. Unless if I have some trees in my land property here in the city.

We have a huge, green backyard full of grass and trees. It's getting overgrown right now because it's too hot to go out and mow the grass.

I used to cut grasses and wild plants during the summer season. It was like the bonding moment with the family in our family house before.

@Shavkat When it isn't so hot, cutting the grass is nice. I love watching the straight rows form behind the lawn mower and the yard turn tidy looking.

@Shavkat Decades ago, we stayed in the city with my husband thinking about better schooling for our daughters. Now I´m alone in a house that is too big for me.

I had seen some photos of your backyard. I wish I could see and develop the land property in my mom's hometown.

My property is fairly large so yes I have a green space near me. There are parks nearby that I can drive to, too.

I am jealous that you have a green space at your place. If I am going to have my own land property, I would want to have a backyard garden.

@sallypup I hope I could have my own green space soon. I am planning to have some wall plants, but need to move to another apartment before the end of this year.

@Shavkat I hope you get some green space. I wish garden growing boxes didn't cost so much. I want to put more in. I don't like to waste land by having it all just grass that needs to be mowed.

I live in area of town that is green almost everywhere. There are 4 lakes, all with public beaches and parks within walking distance of my residence.

Honestly, I also wanted to have a place at the beach side. It is what my late father wanted and hopefully, I could have a place like this before my retirement age. Speaking of lakes, I would like to try catching fish.

Unfortunately I live in a condo and there are no green space to have in my place. I have a small aquarium with real live plants and fish in it. My son also has some plants in the terrace since there is some sunshine passing thru that space.

I think it is enough to have some indoor plants or outdoor plants at the balcony of the condo unit. I also would like to have a condo in a big city like in Manila.

Yes, I can see a rice field near my home. It relaxes my eyes whenever I pass by it. It's really good to live in the province. I believe that my hometown is the safest place or my comfort zone. I used to work in another city for more than ten years and I always wanted to live in my hometown. I resigned from my job and started to work from home. I can enjoy the green scenery now again.

I love seeing rice paddies, too. It is always a second home when visiting the hometown of our granny. Now, she is not with us anymore, it will not likely to visit her place due to cutting the familial relationship with the relatives.

I also have the same beautiful scenery in front of our place. But still, I would want to have a garden.

I have forest land around me. A park is at least a 10min walk from my home. The flat my son is staying is surrounded by a lovely garden that gives it a lovely view from the hall.

Speaking of living in a mountain, the trails are usually have the tall trees. But then, I would still want to have a beautiful garden. I am sure that you breathe fresh air every day there.

@Shavkat I don't breathe fresh air because Kolkata is polluted and near my house back home sewerage water is flowing close by my house from the slums behind our Colony.

I will surely be walking at the lakeside if I am there, too. We also have a lake here but it is a man-made one, unlike in this photo of yours.
