Just when you think it's over...

What a system! A succession of thunderstorms passing through the area. Just when you think it's over it starts again. The power went out and came back on once already. One of my cats was outside when it started and it started with a downpouring of torrential rain. Poor kitty. I waited until the rain slowed a bit and went out to retrieve her. I feel the difference in temperature now. It dropped significantly and feels so good. How's the weather in your parts?

There is some flash flooding in the area and it's still raining. I'm glad I live on a hill.

That poor kitty. I’m sure she appreciated the rescue! Thankfully, it is cooler today, but we haven’t had rain in my city. Some poor city a few hundred miles away from ours had a storm so bad it blew the train off the tracks.

@Starmaiden It must have been. I know there was a tornado warning, and I assume it was more than straight line winds, as powerful as those can be.

It's been storming/raining off and on all day. It feels really nice, especially compared to the temps we've been having. (It's 71F/21.6C right now.) I hope you don't lose power again. Good luck!

Our rains stopped and now the hot and humid weather has returned. When going out the sun feels like you have a heat lamp above your head, I hope you have a good weekend,

It is always cool in my city. Sometimes it's so hot during the daytime, but the wind breeze is cool. Unlike rainy if I can just sleep and relax all day long.

The weather outside is warm with no rain in sight until the weekend which should cool down the high humidity outside.
