A woman who lives in suburban Cleveland Ohio was on vacation with her husband in Ocean City Maryland in July when a rainy day gave her the idea of taking a chance to win some money playing a lottery scratch off game at a 7 Eleven store in Ocean City. Since the store had a Lottery Week promotion, the couple who did not want to be identified for privacy reasons were eligible to play a Pick 5 drawing. The couple found out on the July 19 drawing that she won $50,000. The lottery winner and her husband found out that they won the pick 5 drawing when they were on the road returning to Ohio at a gas station. The woman admitted that winning the lottery prize was a good thing to make up for a below average vacation.
