Pizza For Dinner??

Happy Friday Everyone! it's cloudy here this morning and the heat is making a comeback. It was really nice having a break in all that muggy heat for a few days. I hate to rush August but I'm really looking forward to some crisp, cool weather in the Fall.
I got most of everything done yesterday that I had on my "to do" list. It's a good feeling when you can cross those things off the list. Today I won't be as busy offline (hopefully).
I do plan to spend time reading my book which has gotten very good since I first started it. I think I was distracted when I started reading it and thought it wasn't going to hold my attention but I was wrong. It's a suspense/thriller and I'm caught up in the whole story.
My daughter has an early day today. During the summer months her company closes at 2pm. She's had a very busy work week so I know she'll be happy to have a short day today and looking forward to the weekend.
I'm hoping she suggest pizza for tonights dinner.

We're getting thunderstorms warnings here now so the sun definitely is gone until sometime over the weekend.

@Marilynda1225 He made lasagna last night, and since there is still so much left over, I suggested that we reheat it and finish it off. It was just as good tonight as it was last night.

I'm sure it's nice to pass the dinner torch to him tonight. I love the nights when my daughter cooks and I don't have to do anything except enjoy it

I also look forward to the cool weather in Fall.

I haven’t had pizza in about six months, and hadn’t thought about it until two days ago. Unfortunately, with them putting me on steroids, I’m too afraid the pizza will make me gain weight, and that I won’t stop at just one piece. What a bad coincidence that I’d suddenly want pizza now. 
So, please eat that pizza tonight, and enjoy it while I live vicariously through you.

I'll have one piece for me and one piece for you I'm sorry that you have to give up food that you like because of the steroids but I certainly do understand that it's better to make the sacrifice than gain weight.

Always a good time for pizza; Weird though .I bought a small one last week and haven't even eaten it all. I guess the clothes were working me. Ha, I don't think I wrote that I meant to say worried about the calories .

I have a feeling that August will still be hot for us here - maybe even September as it usually is. It's nice to be done with the to-do stuff . . . I am never done because half the time I don't even start

@Marilynda1225 We had heavy (heavy to us) rains in the winter, so we're not sure where the weather is going this year . . . hoping it's not extreme either way in coming months. I do love a cool, breezy Halloween though!

August is hot here too and into Sept as well. It probably won't be until around Halloween for the cooler weather to come and stay.
Half the time I don't get the stuff done that I have on my mind to do but I had to make the effort yesterday because it was stuff I couldn't put off any longer. I am the biggest procrastinator!!
I really don't feel like cooking so I'm pretty sure it won't take much convincing for pizza tonight.

They close at 2!! Wow she is lucky. Well, today is friday and I go home at 4. So, almost there.
I had so much pizza last semester that I don't wanna eat it anymore, but my friend always buys it anymore, her fav is pineapple pizza from pizza hut. What is ur favorite?
May I ask the name of the book, I usually like thrillers, sci-fi and all dark stuff haha.

I've never had pineapple pizza and I'm happy with plain old cheese. Maybe one day I'll get adventurous and try pineapple.
The book I'm reading is Drowning by TJ Newman This is her second book and the first one is Falling. Both books revolve around airplane scenarios and since she was a flight attendant for years she has a great background for storytelling. Hope you enjoy it if you read them

I can go for pizza every night, lol. Yes, not long to go before summer will be over. I've noticed sunsets have begun a lot sooner already.
