A second jigsaw is finished

We have four more days at our house-sit and I’ve just finished another jigsaw of a poster for a circus. Both jigsaws are quite large and there isn’t much room left now on the dining room table. However, there are two more jigsaws I can do if I want to. One is of the Beatles crossing the road and is an iconic image. The other is a wooden jigsaw made by the father of the lady-of-the-house. I don’t know what the jigsaw shows so it might test my patience. I also don’t know if it will fit on what is left of the table. I’m still making up my mind as to whether I’ll try to do it or not.

The house owners must be jigsaw crazy to have so many

That's only 4. My sister probably has several dozen.

The cats would no doubt have fun batting the pieces around.

I love those vintage poster images! How fun - and these puzzles are good for the brain too.

@JudyEv Ah, so this was a second time around? If there's enough time in between, I guess it's like doing it for the first time .

I did the circus one last year when we were here. It was easier to do this time around but I guess that's to be expected.

@much2say There was twelve months between but it was a bit easier.

So you are pretty much a patient person ...... I have no patience for jigsaws. On the website GreaterGood.com I do the jigsaws for charity but it gets boring really fast and mostly I lose.

I'll check out GreaterGood. I do jigsaws online but only for pleasure. It would be nice to think I'm helping a charity.

@JudyEv I agree and then there are those 3D puzzles that are really hard to complete.

@LadyDuck I wouldn't have the patience for them now.

Some now are so hard that it's not really fun. I mostly stick to smaller ones.

I’d love to see the Beatles crossing the road!

I think it was the cover on an album and I think they were crossing the road to a recording studio.

@freelancermariagrace I wouldn't have time to finish the Beatles one so I'm not going to even start it.

Yeah, if you don’t know what the jigsaw will be, then it would be difficult to do. The Beatles puzzle sounds fun though!

I've managed to find two horses' heads in the wooden jigsaw and it's obviously a hunting scene but I don't think I'll bother going further with it.

So true. I get a really stiff neck too as I get a bit obsessive once I start. If I can limit it to short periods then it's not so bad.

Might be a bit risky (or even risque) doing a jigsaw which you have no idea what it depicts. It could have been made from the gentleman's personal photo collection if you know what I mean!

No such luck. It's more about the lady's penchant for horses - a hunting scene, in fact.

I try to dodge big, complicated ones nowadays. I get a bit obsessed once I start and end up with a very painful stiff neck so I try to limit my time doing them.

The Beatles one sounds really cool. I also like the circus poster. I haven't done puzzles in quite a while. Enjoy your day.

I'm not going to do the Beatles one as we leave on Thursday and I wouldn't get it finished. I enjoy doing them if they're not to tricky.

I enjoy jigsaws. But mine cannot be too large because I do not have enough space to place them.

Space can be a problem for sure. Luckily here there is a large dining table where I can do them.
