It’s starting to be funny…

So, if you read my last post, brilliantly titled, “Argh!”, you remember my doctor messed up. Tuesday it was supposed to be taken care of when I came for an appointment, but no. Yesterday, I called, and they said they’d fix the prescription mess, but no. Today, I drove down there, and they are closed until Monday.
I got in my car, laughed, and started singing praise and worship songs without any music. Weird? Perhaps! But, at this point, I’m just here for the ride. I’m annoyed, but I’m grateful for everything else going so right. It’s a big mess up on his part, and the people around me are kind of shocked at his multiple mess ups, but this is just part of life (my PCP, when I saw him this morning, recommended giving that doctor one more chance since there is a huge waiting list for the back and pain issues right now; it’s true, I waited three months to see this one). I plan on enjoying the NFL kickoff game tonight, and getting on with it. I’ll just wait until Monday for this to be fixed. Wish me luck, and tell me what you’re doing tonight!

Oh I'm so glad you could laugh about it . . . what else can you do about the insanity, right? I say enjoy the game tonight - hope your team wins! Back to school night for my youngest in a bit.
Speaking of prescription oofs . . . I poked my eye, what, early June . . . and they STILL have not called to tell me my eye drops are available and ready for pick up

I'm not quite sure how to respond to this post... "I'm sorry that's happening to you and hope everything is good on Monday" doesn't really express my shock at the service you're getting. It sounds like you really should put in the time to find a new doctor to me.
I'll be doing the same thing I usually do today, playing on myLot, doing dishes, eating food and checking in on friends on YT. Maybe taking a nap after while, too.

Singing praise and worship songs with the big mishaps with your doctor is the only way to handle the situation.
I didn't watch the game, but I saw the score this morning. I did a double take. The Lions beat the Chiefs. That's a huge upset and means the Pack needs to be on their toes this season.

It's good that you kept your spirits up despite all the mistakes by the doctor.
Is his workload too much that he can't get the prescription written correctly? That is sort of scary to think about. How many other patients has he made mistakes with.
We stopped watching football a few years back.

@AmbiePam Yep, coming from a military family that didn't set well with me.
When I watch sports that is what I want to see, not political things shoved at us. I don't care what their political views are just as they don't care about mine. Shut up and play the sport.

I pray the pain does not surface badly while you are waiting because of this totally inept practice.
It is unconscionable that you are treated in this manner.
Meanwhile myself, I am battling immense arrogance and ignorance in bureaucracy. Whats new for us?

Is this a new medication or something you've taken for a while? Your pharmacist should be able to fill that prescription for you or at least give you enough of the correct medication to get you through until you speak to your doctor.
