Each State has its own favourites. While West Bengal has gulab jamun, and Rasgolla Punjab will have jelabis. Maharashtra will have chikki, Karnataka laddoos, Halwa is seen all over made from different ingredients but Banana Halwa is the favourite of Kerala.
Most are available online as they stay fresh for many days

@allknowing Not really, there may be more made then, but they are pretty popular all year

thanks always smiling. I am finding that the difference of sweets of bengal with sweets of north india is that, in bengal we use chana sweets. In north india it is made out of kheer

That is called halwa and is made from several ingredients even wheat flour

I like sweets and have tasted almost all Indian sweets. I have tasted the halwa from the South but not banana halwa.
