It's been awhile...

Hello myLot! How is everyone doing? It has been a long time since I've been here, and so much has changed. I moved up to the Bay Area (San Jose) and it is beautiful here! I will try to take some pictures and share the view. I moved up here because after my daughter graduated college, she stayed up here. My health has deteriorated a lot, and I couldn't take care of myself and the kids anymore, so she moved us up here. Things are tense between us, but I'm really trying to make drastic changes in my life, Things got so tense that my husband left because he didn't like how much control my daughter had over our lives. There are a lot of things that I need to do to improve our situation, and the first thing I need to do is call the public health nurse because he is supposed to come evaluate me to get me help in my home with medical and household things. Then, I need to make many appointments with specialists and get tests done. I know this sounds simple, but all of this is a lot for me to do. I haven't even been able to take a shower for almost 2 weeks! I am miserable. I had COVID a couple of weeks ago, and my immune system is really messed up. Everything hurts. Also, I fell down the stairs a couple of months ago and couldn't move my right fingers for 2 weeks. They still hurt, and there is a small bump on one of them. I think I might have broken them, but it's not like there is anything to do about that. My next doctor appointment is a telephone appointment, and although it is convenient, he can't see me to tell how awful I'm doing, but I guess that's why the nurse is coming out. On top of that, money is REALLY tight. I can't afford my rent without my husband, so my daughter and SIL convinced me to file for separation to get temporary spousal support, but I wouldn't even get anything until next month at the earliest, so I need to go to the Salvation Army to apply for rental assistance. I hope they still have funds for that and it is hard for me to go anywhere anyway, so I am not looking forward to all of this, I just want to sleep.
