Flower umbrella

I clicked this photo years ago when I had taken kids from an Institute to this setup. This park is well-maintained and belongs to a specialty hospital. The kids had a grand time spending their Christmas at this set up where we even had lunch and visited their Planetarium and museum. I have this creeper in my garden which I call an invader. But looking at how it is made use of I am tempted to have such an umbrella in my garden too.

It seems like a lovely place (same as what is in your video, right?). What a great way to direct an "invader" to grow in a pleasant way!

@allknowing The park looks and sounds extensive . . . is it a public park?

@RubyHawk I must first get the 'umbrella' ready for the creeper to climb on

Any other creeper with flowers that grow easily and those that are perennial can be used

@allknowing I agree. I am not sure if we can do this here in my place. I need to ask permission from the landlord.

The idea of combining a garden visit with a Planetarium and museum sounds like a perfect blend of fun and learning. Do you have any favorite spots in your garden where you find yourself spending most of your time?

There is a waterfall that gives me solace and also a bird bath where birds frolic. Here is a video of our waterfall

That is a good idea, it adds an extra special touch to that carefully pruned tree.

You need a frame for that and mount any perennial flowering creeper
