Today is Pancake Day, but I expect you all knew that anyway. Will you be having Pancakes for pudding today?

National Cheddar Day
World Radio Day
So we will all have to listen to the radio while eating our Cheddar Cheese and Pancakes.

Pancakes here in the UK are basically crepes. We can have them either as savoury or sweet, whatever takes your fancy.

@Orson_Kart Pancakes are thicker crepes. Both pancakes and crepes are cooked in a pan. Pancake batter is dolloped out in smaller circles that puff up. Crepes, are spread to reach the very edges of the pan so they will cook very thin. I am making savory crepes for dinner, filled with shrimps.

Three good days today and I think I will be celebrating them all. I listen to the radio all day at work. I have a ham and cheddar sandwich for my lunch and I will be having pancakes when I get home.

I’m not a big fan of pancakes, but Nigella says we should eat them at least once a year, and today is the best day to do it. If you must. I had golden syrup on mine, but only because I don’t have any maple syrup.
The world of radio lost one of their top DJs today. Steve Wright, who I used to listen to on Radio 1, and then 2 when he switched. RIP Steve. 
As for Cheddar Cheese day - I’ve never heard of it, but I love cheese. A lot of my comments are very cheesy

I remembered to buy some maple syrup when I went shopping at the weekend, but I was surprised at how expensive it is now.
