I first noticed this yesterday but did not have my phone in my pocket to snag a photo! The wisteria is blooming! Isn't it pretty?
Yesterday just one or two blooms, but today there were almost ten! It was a nice surprise first thing in the morning when I went out to feed the chickens.
So far the vines that are climbing up the old pecan trees are not blooming. I actually caught my hubby the other day saying he needed to cut a vine down. It was about six inches in diameter and I told him NO!! That is one of the wisteria vines. If you recall, he loves to cut things down, flowers, trees, vines. I think I saved this one. He knows he will be in big trouble if he chops it down. It must be over 100 years old or close to it!
What do you have blooming to mark spring in your yard?

My dad’s wife was just talking about something blooming in her backyard, but I don’t know what it was. She’s ready to get back to her garden. I walk in her backyard and my eyes get itchy; she walks out there, and her eyes fill with joy. I’m happy for her, but I’ll admire from the window.
I love your beautiful picture!

I fight allergies as well, Amber. Most of mine seem to be from cat fur, or chemicals. But dust can really set me off, too. When it's dry and windy outside, the wind kicks up the dust, and then I am miserable. But I manage to try to keep up on the tiny garden, it just brings me so much joy and I need that.

That’s a gorgeous photo! Where I live I think everything that grows in the ground is blooming right now. I can tell because of how bad the pollen is.

@kareng itchy, watery eyes and constant sneezing have been part of my daily routine for the past few weeks.
I’m out in Seattle this week, and the weather has been picture perfect. And with the exception of all the cherry blossoms, the pollen hasn’t been bad at all.

That is the flower blooming in the photo. It is a vine that will grow up trees. I have them all over the yard here as they are (or were) growing up the pecan trees. This batch was planted around the original spot the old outhouse was located at. I don't have any blooming going up the trees so thinking the drought last summer followed by the extreme and prolonged low temperatures we had this winter may have done them in. Sad, these vines going up the trees are old and around 6 inches in diameter.

I know. I will edit it after I get dinner on and we eat!
Oh an Easter Lily! I have those too. I still have a lot of planting to do. I have Glads all over the place that need to be dug up and put in a bed. Some Louisiana Iris's that need planting and lilies that all need replanting.

I transplanted a lot the last couple of years. I should get more blooms this year.

@wolfgirl569 Same but I have the problem with the man mowing over things. He was good and did not mow down the elderberries I put out on the edge of the property---YET!!
I am hoping that the blueberry bush comes back up this year, but I doubt it will after the harsh winter we had.

He had it on his list, so I will have to go help him and follow him around as he cuts. LOL!!
Hope you get to keep the warm weather. We have a cold front moving this way and back to the 30's. Not happy!! But, on the good side, it is not supposed to last long!

Your wisteria is beautiful and really looks like spring is coming. I don't have anything blooming to signify spring but the guys were here all week working on trimming the trees so that noise alone was a sign of spring for me

@Happy2BeMe We have had an unusual amount of wind here and a lot of rain too. I'm hoping it clears up soon so we can get the garden planted.

Oh, it's really beautiful. I love wisteria!
I have seen a few daffodils but that's pretty much it so far. Soon, there will be more to enjoy.
