The child labour stands banned in India. But still they are working for their food. their parents sell them for bonded labour. you cannot stop anything by legislation. we have prohibited alchohol, prosistution, smoking in public places etc. but stil the situation is same. it need the support of the society. let them be aware.let them educate them and let our rulers care for the poor.

goverments can only make laws and pass ordinaces against child labor. but i think we as society have to do a lot more. have you ever shopped at a place which employed children? if we make a pledge to never go to a shop or eatery which employs children, and motivate others to do the same, then i think it can make much more impact than laws or ordinances against child labor.

I am against child labour.
In my country - Italy - it's prohibited, and I'm against it, because children deserve to live their life thoughtlessly, as the other children. Children have to go to school, they have right to a good education, they have right to play with other children and to have fun.
No work for children, let them free to be children!!!!

Bcoz of poverty in India child labour is spreading day by day....which is not at all encouragable and should be strictly prohibited.

Its really very sad to listen this kind of statements. At this age children want to be fully dependent on their parent's instead of that they are becoming earners. It should heart the feelings of humans. It should be completelly prohibited and the parent's of the child should be put into jail.

Now it is banned in India. But we must be able to give the child something, becuase his parents are not educated enough to think like us.They are their earning members in theri family, why should they stop him.Proper measures have to be taken to completely remove child labour from not only India, but from the world itself.
