How do you feel when you see a nun?:)

The other day, when i wasn't feeling great, i was in a tram and one nun actually sit next to me. I was typing sms and i had noticed she was in her thoughts too,she kind of looked like she had a headache or was in deep praying, not sure. She was all in white, with an exception of black jacket. Not sure to which order she belonged, all in white but i felt even nuns don't always have a great day.
For me, when i see them,mostly in their black attire, i feel good about them as a good sign for that day. Maybe it is just me

i thought this nun belonged to mother teresa order but there wasn't any blue colour but i think habit was also white, not sure, i forgot
. 2 aunts? wow, incredible! you know, my old acquitance was also taught by nuns and she didn't like them too

@grenery8 Was always getting yelled at by the nuns and teachers and school psychologists for hanging out with the “bad guys” from other schools.

Though I don't see nuns often now, I don't feel anything when I see them. Its just like, "oh, a nun" and that's the most of it. During my school days, I see them everyday as I studied in a private Catholic school run by the SSpS or Holy Spirit sisters. Maybe I just got so used to their presence that it has just become a common thing for me up until now.

@grenery8 Yes, from primary to secondary even collegiate education. Yeah strict and lots of rules hahaha

when i was in high school, there was a church next to us so we greeted them often or just me but in a bigger city, i learned, it is not a big deal if we don't greet them you attended both primary and secondary catholic school? were they strict?

@greenery8 I have seen nuns here.Here they are in white attire.I had once seen one in a shop.We began talking.She told me about her family..

@grenery8 I often see them shopping in the market.One of them I personally know had been the principal of St.Convent school.

Most of the nuns in the US no longer wear a habit, so it is kind of hard to tell them apart from the general population. I am sure they have good and bad days like everyone else.

i saw nuns only in black; other nuns, in other colours are not so known to me. i saw monks too but it was 2 years ago. they were young monks and they belonged to order of st. francis, in brown attire but with good sneakers. they didn't look poor like st. francis preached

@xstitcher i am too,especially when they are younger. remind me of college kids
