Family Reunion

When last did you have a family reunion of sorts? Meeting up and sharing with a family member or members you haven't seen face to face for a long time.
Such an occasion happened for me last month when family members l haven't seen in almost a decade visited. The time we spent together was wonderful.
Even though technology has made it possible for us to be in close touch with loved ones who live in different continents, nothing beats face to face and warm hugs.
So when last did you have a family reunion? Any reunions planned for this year or next year.? Time sure flies.

Glad to know your family had reunion,I had family reunion during Labor's day,i enjoy the time when we are in reunion.
I feel comfortable and relaxed when facing family.

It has been several years. My mother's family used to have them every year, but Covid kind of killed that, and they haven't started back up. I think the lady who was organizing them is pretty old, and lost interest. Also, my dad's side had them at Christmas but most the second generation moved away.

On my mother's side, we have get-togethers. Our last one was Easter. But it wasn't the whole family. The whole family on that side gets together at Christmas. I don't know the family on my father's side.

It was wonderful you had a family reunion. Its great to see family you haven't seen in years. There are so many of my cousins in New York city we've been trying to contact for over a decade. We used to have a family reunion every year, but after grandmother got older, no one coordinated it anymore. Thanks to your post I will start trying to contact my cousins again.

Just this Christmas. Our family and relatives would get together every year for Christmas.
