Raining Again and it BETTER Stop!

It was a late night last night as we had to go to the airport and pick up my wife's cousin at the airport. She got in around 830 or so, and it's about an hour home from the airport, so we just got a pizza from Pizza World for dinner.
Usually I like lots of toppings, more like a supreme style pizza. But Lorie likes what she calls a "smo." Sausage, mushroom and onion, so we just got that. It was good and filled the bill, although it was much later than I prefer to eat.
My wife and her cousin will head off to Kentucky on Sunday for an annual gambling trip, but Saturday we planned a pool and cookout day.
But of course, the rain has been relentless, and it is raining now. It's supposed to let up, but as it goes with weather it's always unpredictable even if you have overly paid "weather people" taking their best guesses.
This rain better let up and not ruin my day. Mother Nature has been warned.

I wish some of that rain would come to Florida. It's been dry as a bone here, and hotter than you-know-what. We desperately need some rain.
I hope your weekend plans aren't ruined by the weather.

It has been interesting here that we haven't had flooding with all the rain we've been getting. Usually the Mississippi gets high, and we have to close off certain roads, including close the flood gates in some places. But not this year. The ground is just taking it.
But it's getting annoying. I will have a conversation with Mother Nature and see if she can redirect some of this your way. lol

@porwest Please have that conversation with Mother Nature. We desperately need rain, and not just to water everything. We also need it so we can keep our summer temps below 100 degrees!

@moffittjc If I could have somewhere between 75 and 78 all year round, that would be a weather Utopia.

While we were in church this evening, it poured. Still was raining but not as hard when it was time to go home. We should be rain free until Thursday/Friday. But I have seen it rain when they weren't calling for it and sunny days when they were. I think God likes to make weather people look silly

Hopefully, the rain will clear up soon so you can enjoy your pool and cookout day as planned. Mother Nature can be unpredictable, but hopefully, she'll cooperate this time!
