It's Not Today

Good afternoon from hot, muggy Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's 86 F out there right now and feels like it too.
I got surprised this morning with birthday wishes. I couldn't answer the text fast enough as she kept putting different birthday pictures on the text. I told her it's not today. Then I had someone else wish me a happy birthday today. I laughed. She knows it's not my birthday. So, no. It's NOT today.
Otherwise, it's been a good day. Again I haven't been here because I got kicked off with a site error message again this morning. I wonder if it's the heat. Though I got work done on my books, plural. Three of them today. I'm making headway in all of them. I also played my games. I just came in from my second walk around the complex. My leg is bothering me, so no trail today. It's also uncomfortable sitting here as it's the muscle at the leg joint.
I can't do much with my leg acting up, but at least I got work done on my books. One day, I'll be finished with all of them. Now wouldn't that be a surprise. Doubtful though, since I'm always starting something new.

@GardenGerty I'm wondering the same thing. However, I worked on the computer with my books and games, so I don't know why I couldn't work here.

@kareng Storming here too. I'm glad it's nice and cool without the A/C in the den.
I'm feeling a nice cool draft from the patio door. I just looked out the patio door. I've never seen a sky as orange as it is right now. I got pictures.

The heat has been out of control here too. I mean, it's always hot in Florida during the summer, but it seems to be slightly worse this year. Does it matter if it's 98 degrees or 110? Either way, it still feels like you are sticking your head inside an oven.
Anyway, I hope your leg feels better and that you enjoy your birthday!

Today's temps are a-typical for Florida in summer. A little hotter, but we havn't hit our peak. But, we had several days of rain. Humidity runs rampit this time of year. I wish your leg wasn't bothering you so. The site blinked out on me earlier today too. It's been working for the past couple of hours though.

My boyfriend came down for a visit on Friday. He was supposed to come down doing the 4th, but he said he hurt his back. It's been hot here.

I'm sorry your leg is bothering you. I hope it feels better soon. It's going to be hot for the next few days. We will be getting storms on Sunday; but we could use the rain. Have a good weekend.

Thank you. I took Ibuprofen when I went to bed. This morning my leg feels fine. I hope it stays that way.
We're hot too. We have rain tomorrow and Monday. I hope you get some of the rain coming our way.
