Today We Ordered Our House

Today, Jay filled out the paperwork so we can buy a pre-fab house. It was explained to me, this house will be delivered in two pieces, the front and back section.
All the carpenter work is provided by the company that manufactures these homes.
Jay wanted to do the work himself, but his back won't permit him to stand for very long.
Once the home is completed, we can finally move. I can't wait to be living in our very own house! They estimate that this will probably be completed within 6-8 weeks.
The paperwork had to be done on Jay's new phone. He needed help doing this, but it got done and finalized. What a relief!

@kobesbuddy Hmmmm, I will have to check also and see if they will build in Virginia or even West Virginia. I am so happy for you guys!!!!!!!! That is so exciting!

Just because they say 6-8 weeks, that doesn't mean it will be finished. What people say or do are two different things:)

hooray Jay filled out the paperwork! I have been praying that everything going perfectly!
I am glad Jay was able to fill it out on his phone. I would have no idea how to do that. I don't like how they expect people to do things on their phones. why not on paper?

I also use it to look up my weather channel app as I adore it when they predict the weather, despite having a weather phobia

I don't know if the house will be finished, I think it will be delivered by then. Completing the process, electricity, city water, natural gas hookup, will take more time. I really don't care, as long as it's going forward.

Congratulations! Did you give up on the one you were having built? I have to say some of those pre fab houses are really nice. I have thought about getting one myself.
