Its a Rainy Day

Happy Tuesday Everyone! It's a rainy day here in my little corner of the myLot world. We need the rain and so far it's just been a light steady rain and not pouring. I'm sure the grass, plants and flowers are happy.
My oldest daughter texted me this morning that one of our favorite authors has a new book out. I'm excited even more so that she's going to get it and then give it to me when she's done. Win win !! Books have become so expensive and I'm glad we enjoy the same books and can share them.
My grandson will be starting his second year away at college next month. He and 3 friends will be sharing an apartment off campus and he's excited because he can bring his car. I have a box of stuff that I was going to donate but since it's kitchen stuff he wants to look through it and see if he can use any of it before it goes to donation. I really didn't think guys care much about kitchen stuff so it should be interesting to see if and what he chooses.
Today is my two friends birthday. I still think it's funny that my two best friends share a birthday and yet they don't know each other.
Not much going on here today. Just the same old, same old.

That is always funny when those coincidences happen. My nephew did that. The dorm room he had was about the size of a closet..when he was staying in the dorms. Sis was surprised they could fit a bed in there.

Those dorm rooms are definitely tiny and I don't how you share a room with someone in the amount of space of a postage dta.p

Yes, Mush loves the sun too and will enjoy laying on the deck. Guess the heat feels good on her old bones. Hope you and Sadie enjoyed your walk.

He is growing up so quickly, it seems just like yesterday that you were posting about his high school graduation, now he is preparing for his second year of college. It goes by so quickly, we have been talking lately about 2027 and how we would like to celebrate our milestones that year will bring-we will both turn 65 years old, I will retire and we will be married 40 years. We are saving now so that we can take a trip that we will always remember. Time passes so quickly.
