When is the Hottest Part of the Day?

Arvada, Colorado
August 4, 2024 10:21am CST
Here in mountain time, it is 3PM without fail. By 3PM, it is boiling hot here. I stupidly tried to walk to Target yesterday at that time. I nearly passed out, even though I was hydrated and had a hat on. What about where you are in the world?

I would say that the hottest time of the day is between noon and 3pm. I wear a straw hat when I am out and about under the sun too.

@RebeccasFarm It is changing as the sunrise times are changing. A month ago the hottest time of the day was between 11 and 3pm.

We had 45 C days for 3/4 days and 40 C plus for almost a month in May and June. Rainy season did bring down the mercury but increased the humidity a lot. I think 3 to 4.30 is the maximum temperature time we have. Are you too having 40 C plus mercury?

@RebeccasFarm Oh that's very hot. On the other hand, after weeks of high humidity, rains are gradually picking up and both temperature and humidity are more manageable. Highs of between 33 and 36 C.

it is difficult to say. In India there is a Allahabad meridian. Based on that the time zones are created. But in Calcutta the hottest time is 1 pm in Rajasthan the hottest time is 2 pm

In the evening it's hot. Maybe at 6 PM. This extreme heat is not a joke. We bought an AC and even with it the heat was unbearable. We turned it off at night because the bill can be very expensive. We had 11 days of extreme heat.

That is just about when our maximum heat level usually happens. A weather front moving through changes when it happens occasionally, but only while it is passing.

It has been a burning hell during summers in most parts of world this year. Most countries had record air conditioner sales and well from the looks of the summer, it would be tough to go out during the summers. I have seen 47C during summer. I drank atleast 4 litres of water a day and mostly liquid diet . Never felt like having solid food. My only suggestion is stay indoors, preferrably near the air conditioner for the rest of the summer. We got to do something for the climate change . Well, stay at home during the afternoon and do not walk outside . Well hopefully thing will get better!
