Off to get some groceries.

I am out of coffee. I am out of bacon and eggs. I am almost out of yummy frozen glorified TV Dinners. Time to do some grocery shopping. How is your Thursday shaping up? I have only five students today, One of our instructors at Guitar Center quit the other day so he could teach full-time at a local high school. That means my schedule is going to be even more packed over the next few weeks. That means a bit more fun money, and fewer breaks. Off I go. Oh, here's random question: Do you think Bill Barr will be the next Trump associate to do time for Trump? As you know, he was Trump's Attorney General. Have you read/heard about the Egypt scandal from 2016? I may post about it later. Photo is from a later Summer outing with a kid client near Borges Ranch. Them's our California Hills when the green yields to brown.

I need to do some grocery shopping as well. I can't do it until tomorrow though when I get paid. It's just a few things but necessary ones.

I would not mind that here. But I did remember to water my balcony garden this morning.

@LovesEverybody We don't have much thunder here. Kitty seems to have gotten used to things like the Big Blue Monster (garbage truck).

@rasmasandra my cat is petrified of thunder, too. the second he hears even a light thunder he races to the basement. It never fails. I am not sure where in the basement he hides. Give your cats hugs from me!

My Thursday is rainy and gloomy. I also need a few things from the store which we'll probably get over the weekend.

Gee, there isn't much time that the California hills are actually "green" in color. Is that Vic and Loretta Borges Ranch? What I would always miss is when Towne Creek would dry up. It's the one that led to Lake Nacimiento. During the winter it was fun seeing how many idiots would get stuck in the lower crossing trying to save 15 or 20 minutes driving time. The road association had created an upper crossing for the winter crossing where nearly all vehicles could get across the creek, yet there were the hard heads that would still insist that they could get across the lower crossing when it was running about 8 feet deep. The provided plenty of laughs for the more intelligent folks that used the other crossing. Today I get to meet with the pain clinic for the first time. I discovered that I can't talk for long periods of time without a cough drop soothing my throat. It should be interesting. I'm going early so I can pick up some cough drops, I've about run myself out having conversations with various people. When I finish at the pain clinic I may stop at the thrift shop on the way home. It's one of my favorite places to shop. Well I guess I should get off my fanny and shower and get my chores done. I need to borrow 50 cents for the bus and go down and catch the darn thing on time....their time not mine.

@TheHorse I'm not too sure, my throat was sore for about 3 weeks and it kind of cleared up. Then in the past few weeks this has set in...I don't like talking to the doctor about it because they will think I am dreaming up symptoms for attention rather than the darned things being real. In the mean time I keep the cough drop companies in business.

I learned how to do shopping online during the pandemia. some food are musts. Years go, when I smoked, I made friends with a taxi driver who would bring me ciggies in the middle of the night if I was running out of them.

@TheHorse Once I had invited some neighbors (at the time when it was fine to smoke indoors) and we all run ot of ciggies. Don´t worry, I said, and called my friend. I just said "Pedro, please bring me a package of ciggies and one of (I don´t remember my neighbor´s brand) ASAP. I did not say my name nor my address. My neighbor was shocked!

@marguicha I bet you enjoyed surprising them. When I order my Thai food, I often use phony accents. Ko (my friend who runs the Thai place) has caller id, so I can't fool her any more. But I've tried with friends at my house a couple of times. It's fun.

I think you need to see a doctor. It’s inexcusable to run out of BOTH coffee and bacon.

@TheHorse — no, if you run out of coffee and bacon it’s a medical emergency.

Lovely picture especially the clear blue sky. I hope you have not left anything out of the shopping list. The main Trump associate that comes to mind is Rudy Giuliani who is left in the lurch now having to fight his own battles to stay afloat. He went downhill after his glory days.

@TheHorse Tea is a good drink but just doesn’t pack that good punch!! There is always a spare package of coffee in my pantry, no chances are ever taken on running out, it’s just too vital!

I hope your food stock is enough. It seems like there are some food items in my refrigerator. We did have a serious problem with the refrigerator yesterday, the cable was bitten by a rat. Luckily we realized it quickly, otherwise there would have been sparks and a fire. Luckily there were no significant problems... Our food stock is enough for tomorrow

Well, my Thursday was a bit packed up. I had 3 to 4 important tasks on my hands. But the accidental rains do disturb our schedule a lot of times during the monsoon days here. That's why I had to reschedule my work for this morning. I'll off from my home in 10-15 minutes at it's time for all the offices to start the day's work. But I'm happy for you. You have an increased work load. But that also means heavy pockets So when are you inviting me over a cup of coffee?? PS: By now, you might have got your coffee from the mall

I was out of yogurt so I had groceries delivered from Walmart at 8 a.m. this morning! I plan on starting to get a delivery from a Walmart each week and pick up a few things from a grocery store that I can't get from Walmart.
