And i did this for a month.
It might sound half foolish or half dangerous but in a walk under an hour, i like being left alone and noone bothering me.
carrying mobile phone with me, i was feeling nervous and half anxious thinking that someone will call me and when someone reached me, i coudn't hear them properly in a grocery store and they were reaching me for stupid things and i felt a negative energy, which wasn't necessary; why do we have email, i sometimes wonder.
i'm feeling more relaxed without an extra pain like this and my walk is really peaceful.

I have mine with me, but I have it set to turn on the “do not disturb” feature, so it’s the best of both worlds: nobody can contact me, but I still have it in case of emergency.
By the way, congratulations!!

I can only say "CONGRATULATIONS"! Cellphones are part of the latest addictions of this century.

@grenery8 When there were only line phones, we did not feel isolated.

I too never carry my phone when I go out for walk. And sometimes when I carry it;I keep it in my pocket until it rings.I never use it unnecessarily while walking.

@grenery8 Those who call me are not strangers.Either they are my friends or relatives. However I don't like to carry anything with me;but I still can't leave my phone at home;because my friends want to take their call.

I carry mine when I leave the house. I've never fallen with the exception of one time at home, and once several years ago I fell on a friend's patio on a stupid rug I didn't see, and broke my arm. The phone goes on my walks and treks. No, I don't always answer it, but if I personally need it, I can call for assistance for myself or for my son.

o, i see and understand you and i'm sorry you fell. i am aware it's risky on my part but, i will stick to this a little bit cause, i really feel better mentally knowing the phone isn't with me and i don't have to wonder will someone call me and such.

When I am busy or taking time for myself, I will only answer the phone if I know it's one of my family or an emergency. That's why I have voicemail, and I can always return a call a bit later.

@MarieCoyle looking for a job,my phone gave false hope and some negative comments from similar people. I have an option of voicemail but i don't think it's free, is yours free?

@grenery8 I take it with me in case of an emergency--or if, in rare cases, someone calls.

@xstitcher o,i see it now, thanks. We, by time,i should carrying it too. The phone represents bad energy for me but it shouldn't be like that forever.

I would take it for an emergency; but I would turn it off. Have a good weekend.

For me, it would be wiser to bring it. In case of any emergency or something happens to you, at least you have a phone. You can turn it off or put it on silent mode anyways if I do not want to be bothered.

I do not disagree with you . It is always better to carry out our things while not being anxious of missing calls . It is not simple worth it. I do carry my phone around me although not much at home. I do not pick up calls while I am walking or driving. Those calls can wait. And i totally agree with you that we should have -" Our " time and not let some calls spoil that. I also check the calls and if spam , chose not to attend them .It is waste of time for me. With that practice I am able to avoid most of unwanted calls. So, if the practice is helping you , I would say stick with it .We should be relaxed and enjoying not stressed all the time.

I think the best way is what Four Walls suggested - turn on the "do not disturb" function. That way you still have your phone on in case you need to make an emergency call, but you won't have to stress about whether someone will call you. Also, having your phone is handy to check the time or the weather or if you see something cool and want to take a picture!
