Bull heart tomato

This is my favorite tomato, its name is due to its heart shape and, given its size, it can only be that of a bull.
Every year we plant these tomatoes, they are very fleshy, delicious. This year, I think due to the excessive heat, we have less, but that seems to be the case with almost all crops.
Do you know these tomates? Which variety is your favorite?
Picture of tomates I pick for lunch.

This is the first time I've seen a tomato like that. The ones we have here are small and round (not cherry tomatoes). I haven’t tried any other types, so I can’t really make a comparison.

@nela13 Philippines. It’s all good; I guess I’m just not familiar with other varieties aside from what I call the regular tomatoes and cherry tomatoes.

@hexeduser22 maybe this variety is not suitable to be planted in your country.

Never heard of them, rather unique. I like Beefsteak tomatoes.

We have beef tomatoes in the UK which are also large and great for adding to burgers to add taste and nutrition. My 2nd favourite tomatoes are tinned, which I add to curries and sauces.

@nela13 Yes, there seems to be many varieties. The beef tomato I know is large but not heart-shaped. I’ll find a photo and post it for you.

Never seen or used these Tomatoes.
We have the Hybrids and the locally grown ones which are slightly more sour.
I would like to buy the above if they are available at a nearby store.

I think those are from seeds that are a cross between two tomato breeds.

Maybe they only grow in some temperatures, and Índia weather is not ideal for them.

So that is what they are called! I love these and use them all the time in caprese salad--they are really flavorful!
