Would the color of a cat have any bearing on its behavior?
I am thinking of getting myself 2 cats ( we already have 2 dogs) ,however l want nice playful cats- none that would scratch and bite.
Black, grey , white, ginger, mixed - would color make a difference in its temperament.

Color doesn't make a difference. I would advise you to contact a reputable rescue or shelter and adopt adult cats. You never know what you're going to wind up with if you get young kittens. Adult cats have already established their personalities so you'll know if they are playful, confident, fearful, aggressive, etc.

@Kandae11 That is a personal preference. I've taken in cats from like 8 months to 15 years old. But if you know you want a friendly and confident cat then you should take in one who is an adult and whose personality and behavior has been established.

Color doesn’t really determine a cat’s temperament—it’s more about their individual personality. If you want playful and friendly cats, spend some time with them before deciding. And hey, just a suggestion. Please consider adopting! Shelters are full of sweet cats who need loving homes, plus you’ll be helping make space for more strays in need.

@Kandae11 True and you'd also be helping these animals have a second chance at life and find forever loving homes. Rescue shelters can be in fulI capacity. They need to have these animals adopted for them to have space to accommodate rescues again and continue with their mission. My heart are for these animals who mostly were abandoned, neglected or abused that is why I always advocate for adopting. Its my one way of helping. Thank you for considering adoption. For sure someone out dare is perfectly meant for you.

I don't think color makes a difference. I would spend a little time with a pet first to see what kind of personality it has. Those who have had alot of human contact tend to make better pets, and those who get along well with dogs or are at least used to them would probably be helpful.

I don't think so, it is all depends on the environment that we give them. Though there are cats that are stubborn, but if we know how to discipline them properly and show love and attention they become obedient and loving too.
