Another Busy Weekend

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a nice sunny start to this Monday morning. August is quickly coming to an end and our area schools started today. I was up early this morning and I saw the neighborhood kids walking to the bus stop. I had another busy weekend. Saturday my daughter and granddaughter came over for lunch. My two daughters and granddaughter decided they wanted to make homemade pizzas so we had three different ones. One was plain cheese (my favorite), the other was covered in peppers, onions and mushrooms (not my favorite but it's what my granddaughter made) and a pepperoni (my second favorite). It was fun having the three of them in the kitchen and creating their masterpieces. After lunch we just hung out and visited. Yesterday my son and daughter in law surprised me with a visit. They were nearby doing some shopping and called to see if I was up for a visit. The grandsons weren't with them as they were either working or had their own plans for the day. My poor son was walking all hunched over as his back was bothering him. I can certainly sympathize with him as I have back issues too. He's been working so hard lately that I can't say I'm surprised that his back is giving him trouble. Today is back to a fairly quiet day. I'm happy that I finished one of the baby blankets I got an order for and I started the next one. I should have them done by the date the lady needs them by. I also took a few pictures of some things I want to list for sale and now it's just a matter of listing them. I took chicken out to defrost for dinner and now it's just a matter of deciding what to do with it. That's what's happening here. How was your weekend?
